Apple Butter BBQ Sauce started at home with 40 pounds of apples. We peeled, cored, and then simmered them with molasses, brown sugar, cinnamon and rum to name justsomeof the ingredients. Our first batchwas pressure-canned, just like Mom taught us, and wedebuted it at BBQ competitions. It must have been good, because we wonawards when we used it!

Description

Apple Butter BBQ Sauce is a sweet, thick, smoky BBQ sauce withan aroma of apples, cinnamon and molasses. Its flavour is balanced between tangy bite and spice, with a texture like smooth apple sauce.

Common Applications

Perfect for glazing grilled chicken, pork ribs, chops or tenderloin. Awesome condiment on anything grilled or wanting a rich BBQ sauce flavour.

Other Uses

Simmered in sauted onions or used in hand-made burgers or meatloaf.
