Founded in 1818 by Louis Charles Pillivuyt, the brand retains its original values to this day. Pillivuyt is world famous for classic, stylish design and first-class, high quality. Pillivuyt is one of the last manufacturers in Europe to produce its porcelain mass according to its own traditional recipes in order to be able to consistently monitor the quality of the raw materials and the manufacturing process in its own laboratory.

Fired at extremely high temperatures that are not common in the industry (1400C in capsule firing), Pillivuyt porcelain is characterized by its high resistance to temperature fluctuations. This means that every Pillivuyt product can easily be placed directly from the freezer into the hot oven (-30C – +350C). Microwave compatibility, dishwasher resistance and high resistance to abrasion are a given. Tried and tested in the catering industry, Pillivuyt is the preferred brand of French star cuisine.
